PVDF membrane is the abbreviation of difluorinated resin, and its service life has been improved to about 15 to 20 years. Compared with general PVC membrane, it has a longer service life.
PVF membrane material is a thin film made of PVF resin on the surface treatment of PVC membrane. It is more durable than PVDF membrane and has the advantage of anti-fouling, but because of its poor processability, construction performance and fire resistance, its use is limited.
These membrane materials are generally composed of two parts: base fabric and coating. The base fabric is mainly woven with high-strength polyester fiber or glass fiber, and there are many weaving methods such as plain weaving and twisting. Different weaving methods affect the warp and weft mechanical properties of the membrane material, providing the tensile strength and tear strength of the membrane; the coating materials are mainly polytetrafluoroethylene and polyvinyl chloride, which improve the strength indicators of the membrane material to a certain extent. In order to improve the durability and self-cleaning properties of the membrane material, there is often a layer of fluorine coating or silicon coating on the surface, which provides the membrane material with fire resistance, durability, waterproofness, self-cleaning and other properties, and determines the physical properties of the membrane material.
